Back to school with Naturino!

Now that the summer holidays are over the time has come to go back to school. This is not always easy for children after a lazy summer full of games and outdoor fun.

It is even more difficult for children who are facing their very first day at school in a new environment with new friends and rules to follow.

The first thing to do is to ensure that children have some free time in the afternoon to play or carry out creative activities. Holidays often mean outdoor fun and adventure, so that, weather permitting, children should be allowed to spend time outdoors ensuring that they do not spend too much of their time in front of the computer or TV and playing video games.
Doing homework with friends is also much more fun! Inviting your children’s school friends to come around is a very good idea because doing homework together is easier and more interesting.
It is also very important to link the things your children have done during the summer to their school routine: encourage your children to continue hobbies and interests taken up during the summer since this will stimulate their curiosity and make them feel that they are somehow still on holiday.
